Parkour is a training discipline using movement that developed from military obstacle course training, the goal being to move from one place to another in the most efficient & artistic way possible. Parkour involves seeing one's environment in a new way, and imagining creative and acrobatic strategies for navigating it by movement around, across, through, over and under its features. Parkour became popular in the late 1990s & 2000s through films, videos, documentaries, and ads featuring parkour athletes and their skills.
Students of any age and ability level can enjoy the mental and physical rewards of Parkour as it is more about one's personal expression and confidence than the tricks .
